Bill Musser (Doc's KC BBQ of Texas)
Best investment in tuition I've made since my collage degree.  I've ruined $250 of meat alone in the past year.  Wish I would of attended Bob's class a long time ago, as it would of saved me lots of frustration and aggravation. An helping to perfect the craft of barbeque.

    Curtis Gunnarson - Austin, TX
The class was very informative and practical. There was almost too much information to absorbe in one day. Thank you for the great barbecue experience.

    Jeff Janda - Shawnee, KS
The class was very instructive and most importantly entertaining. It's great to know what "real" BBQ is supposed to taste like.  I can't wait to go home and try the techinques at home.

Rod Boling Kansas - City, MO
I would highly recommend this class to ANYONE. I knew nothing about smoking, but now I have been enlightened. A Class Act All The Way!!

Greg Frankenbach - Kansas City, MO
I learned a lot from Bob and Dan regarding prep and presentation.  This class has removed tons of anxiety towards smoking and BBQ.  I would recommend this class to anyone.

Galen Winkler - Juniata, NE (Paradise Pitmasters)
What a class!!!  Bob takes what many people make complicated things, and makes it simple.  Dan also brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.  When Bob tells you that you will know bbq secrets, beleive it.  This class has also made me a better KCBS CBJ. Thanks Bob and Dan.

Ivey Hoff - Jefferson City, MO
Loved it, learned so many things that I would never have thought of, and doing this for the past few years never seen!  The spice education part of it was great, and also the ratio's for making rubs.  Can't wait until I can go and try it out.  Also Bob's way of taking the membraine off of the ribs, never seen it done that easy. I am so stealing that for my own use.

    Shane Bryan - Lenexa, KS

Bob let me realize that BBQ chicken can be good.  I am not usually a fan of chicken but the easy way he taught was great.  Also the slicing of the pork was new to me and was amazing.  Even though I only cook for fun, I learned a lot about competition BBQ cooking, which was great.

    Debbie Bryan - Pratt, KS
I took home a lot more knowledge than what I had expected to leave with.  Bob was a very kind and great fun to get to know.  He answered all of my questions with great detail, and I never felt out of place asking anything.  It doesn't matter whether your a backyard cook or competition cook you will learn.  Great class!!!

    Scott Zabler - Iowa
The instructors talked in terms that you could understand. I liked the notebook to write down wnat I do each time. Liked the internal temp guides and approxmating time. I'm not a competition person but gave me good ideas on presentation rather than just piling the meat on the platter. I do not like chicken, but the thigh I received was great!! Thanks guys for a job well done.

    J.J. Bennett - Fairway, KS
The class was great and the food was amazing.  I would like to understand the cooking portion in more detail.  A temp vs time analisit.  With how different grills effect this process. As I imagine the time and temp recomendation for each grill is different.

Warren White - Kansas City, MO
Great class.  Teachers have a great knowledge. They have been there and done that.  Good instructing, and excellant food.  I learned alot and will be aboe to use nearly all of it.

    Fred Fox - Springfield, MO
For me the class was very fun and informative.  I realy found Bob and Daniel's knowledge, and experitice exactaily what I was looking for and needed to take me to the next level of competition.  I hope to be able to put my new knowledge to use as soon as possible.  Thank you Bob and Daniel, it was all fantastic!!!

    Craig Lawson - Burlington, KS
The class was well organised and was extreamly educatinal.  Learned alot about presentation and picked up several tricks of the trade.  I would highly recomend this class to all that want to be a better pitmaster.

    Mollie Goering - Glenwood, IA
I learned new and different techniques on preparing chicken, pork butt, brisket, and ribs, and salmon.  Small class so it felt like one-on-one teaching. Got to sample all the wonderful meats! :)

    Justin Goering - Glenwood, IA
This class was very informative. Absolutely worth the time spent.  The amount of information presented, samples and hints given made this class a great deal for the price!  Both Bob and Dan are exceptional presenters with a great deal of knowledge on the subject.  I would recommend this class to anyone at all levels.

Hank Burch and Kristi Russell  - Topeka, KS
We will be able to use a lot of the information that was shared in our competitions, everything from the prep work, to cooking, and finaly to the presentation piece of the box.  Loved the way of making our own rubs, easy simple recipets.

    Larry Neumann - Cozumel, Mexico
Answered almost all of my questions before I had a chance to ask them.  Very enlightening and well worth the time and effort to get here.  Brisket and Pork Butt were covered in detail with many good tips for both backyark and competition cooks.

Michael Bishop - Platte City, MO
Very informative class. Really liked the parts that focused on prepartion of the meats (Ribs & Chicken). Since i don't compete, would have preferred more of this with the brisket and pork butt, but I still found the contest side very interesting and will use the appearance stuff for cooking at home. Thanks! Enjoyed the class.

    Bill Cahill  - Leawood, KS
Truly enjoyed this class.  Bob is a fantastic instructor. He teaches and demonstrates the sessoning and smoking process and delivers the desired expectation.  The hands on part of the class is great, mixing our own rubs based on the 8-3-1-1 ratio made a lot of since. I am going to start the Cooking Log practice, as I am comvinced it will help we active better results.  I will recommend this course to others.

    Curtis Gunnarson - Austin, TX
The class was informative and helped me take the fear out of doing BBQ and motivated me to work on becoming a good and consistent barbecue cook.

    Lance Hoover -  Kearney, MO
I had little experience and knowledge and wanted to learn more. The class was great and I learned so much. Bob and Danny were great and it was great to learn from them, and their experience.  With their help, I can only improve my BBQ skills.

The class was very well organized. Avery good set of forms for rub development and a cooking log was included in the handout book. The class presented preparation for the four competition meat catagories. Excellant class, great value.

    Geoff Stallard -Grand Forks, ND
The class was informative over a wide spectrum of catagories from contest entries to restaurant smoking.  It gave me a very good sense of smoking meats, with some of the K.C. Style.  It was equally helpful with contact information on the restaurant and marketing leves.

Bob's nowledge and experience was an invaluable in teachint the class.  Now I am years ahead of the learning curve.  This is the best $250 anyone could spend on learning BBQ/Smoking.  This teaching is fun, truthful, and very useful.

I liked the hands on factor of this class.  Listening to Bob, someone who has years of experience, talk about his ways and wisdom of bbq.  Having other people to share personal experience with and talk about others experiences. Enjoyed the class very much. Thank You Bob!

Andy McCaskill - Kansas City, MO
Great Food! I appreciated the breakdown of rub ingredients and worksheets.  Bob did a good job covering BBQ topics relevant to backyard smokers (me) and competition level people.  Great to take food (+ more) home to the family.  Bob was good at answering questions.

Fred McGee - Moss Point, MS  (Ribs on Wheels)
It was one of the most fun and learning classes I have attended. Bob really is a great teacher with a lot of know how.  I can now take what I learned back to share with family in Mississippi.

Excellent. Covered all aspects of BBQ from seasoning, sauces to types of smokers.  I received enought hands on training to experiment at home.  Learned the progress from choosing the meats, cutting, adding spices and sauces cooking times to presentations.  I would recommend this class to anyone that loves BBQ.

Enjoyed the class! I am brand new to the BBQ world, and this class was perfect for letting me know what tools I needed and how to use them.  Favorite part of the course was making my own rub and of course trying all the different meats.  Very friendly instructors!

Stan Parks  - Kansas City, MO. (Dunn Up BBQ / Smoke N Sparks)
Very informative.  Learned a lot of new information that my team can apply to our processes.  Also helped validate some parts of our approach.  Enjoyed interaction opportunity to have hands on activities.  Appreciated the sharing of presentation / turn in techniques. and photos.

    Lori McMillan - Topeka, KS
I loved this class!  I like cooking and think that I know a fair bit about it, but I learned So Much I never knew about BBQing meat.  The class format is geared toward different learning styles, with a good mix of lecture, presentation, and hands on trying.  Bob and Daniel kept our interest throughout the 8 hour day, and we ate very well!  Our instructors were friendly and approchable, and seem sincerely interested in our questions  they answered everything we could think of, and have encouraged us to call or email them with anything that might occur to us, even years down the road.  My husband and I both enjored our day with you, and we'er glad you offer such a wonderful service for those of us who want to learn about BBQ.  Thanks, guys!
